Primary School Visits
Rhubarb Farm offers inspiring educational activity visits for primary school groups. For a one and a half to two hour session primary school children take part in a range of activities aimed at increasing their awareness of fruit and vegetables, recycling and pond life.
We offer a fun and fast-moving session that children will find engaging, interesting and stimulating. For example, they will discuss our composting toilet, identify how many things we recycle, go pond-dipping and identify pond creatures, search for vegetables growing on site, and learn how to look after chickens. They will also have some fun time and maybe be able to taste something from site, depending on the season.
We charge £4 per head for visits, minimum 30 pupils or, if fewer, £120. Ring 01623-741-210 or email anita@rhubarbfarm.co.uk to book your school group visit.
For special schools and learning disability group visits, please contact us to discuss arrangements for smaller groups. We are very flexible and can tailor-make visits for your group's needs.
